A pixel-art simulation of a village of about fifty-five people in five family houses, a short walk through the forest from a town with a courthouse. Hunger pushes people to steal and grudges push them to kill. Crimes leave traces, witnesses hold partial and sometimes false beliefs, and a council of elders judges from what it believes, not what is true. Wounds are tracked part by part and can heal badly; wolves hunt anyone left alone at night.
